I really enjoy Reminisce Magazine. So many of the stories bring back sweet memories and fun times. Reading these reviews I understand the frustration about the multiple subscription notices asking you to renew, when your subscription is still good for two years. ALL magazines do this. Back in the 70's I recall I kept on sending in money to one magazine we kept on getting notices for. I was young and didn't really look into it until one day... Read more

I subscribed to Reminisce for many years and loved the magazine, but had to discontinue a few years ago. I subscribed again yesterday, but wish I had seen these reviews first. Sounds like the magazine has really gone down hill. How disappointing. One hundred words? How silly. How silly. How silly. How silly. How silly. How silly. How silly. How silly. How silly. How silly. How silly. How silly. How silly. How silly. How silly.... Read more

You continually send me the magazine and a bill which I do not open either one. I have, on numerous occasions requested that you stop sending the magazine. What does it take to make you stop? A court order? I cannot believe that your Manager of Incompetence continues to send this to me. I am 80% blind and cannot read it anyway, but you insist on ignoring my request. Is this done intentionally, or do you think that your persistence will... Read more

My sister & I sent a picture of our dad leaving the USS Latimer in August of 1945, just after Japan had surrendered. They had seen heavy battle in the Pacific. There's a sweet little boy following him on the dock. It is a wonderful picture; we wanted to surprise him for his 90th birthday. There aren't many of those heroes left; we foolishly assumed they would be delighted to print it. We followed the guidelines to the letter, even... Read more

WHY CAN'T REMINISCE MAKE IT EASY TO CHANGE AN ADDRESS? THE PHONE NUMBER LISTED IS NOTHING BUT ADVERTISEMENTS FOR JUNK, I DON'T HAVE TIME TO LISTEN TO THAT. THE SUBSCRIPTION WAS A GIFT FROM A FRIEND, HE KNOWS WE WOULD BE CHANGING ADDRESSES. WILL HE GET HIS... Read more

On pg. 45 is a picture of a woman (Marilyn Montgomery) sitting on top of a '53 Packard as part of a Camp Atterbury, Indiana charity drive. Scott Logan writes: "Camp Atterbury has left our lives, as has the Packard, but Marilyn (now Logan) goes on and on, better than ever." Correction: Camp Atterbury is alive and well! Troops train there all the time. I'm a USO volunteer there, so I know! Scott Logan - whoever he is - needs to be... Read more
